Search SD for DCW600 and it almost exclusively brings up this kit in past... not the cheapest, but very good @ ~$300 w/ tax for most

This price is very close to the last black friday deals price (I was going to get it at that time, but missed the deals, and now for specific reason I can't get it, but still want to). This is a best-in-class router and jig saw is decent too.

I literally just bought the router earlier in the week for like $160. I too already have the jigsaw. Don't need more chargers (already have 2 I don't use) or bags (same). More batteries are a plus however I already have a bunch, and even though the kids use my 5 and 6 ah batteries for their power wheels, I already have (2) 6 and (1) 5 ah so that pretty much suits them.

Could probably buy this combo and sell the shit I don't need and make out a bit better than $160 but it's a farking hassle.

Looking for a battery ecosystem to get since my old cheaper power tools no longer cut it. Still diyer and hobby level, but with more materials. I grabbed the Milwaukee router and two 6.0 batteries last week for the same price. Would this be a better system to get in on? I'd get the jig saw out if the DeWalt kit in the process.

What tools in the bundle did you get? Bundles with drill, impact, flashlight are this price often. That's where I started. Jigsaw is somewhat uncommon in a bundle?

Milwaukee= Slightly Better Tools with a similar sized ecosystem (and I would say in recent years their ecosystem is faster growing and more innovative)

DeWalt = a very high quality tool but I would label it closer to Prosumer than Milwaukee with the exception of some of their saws and other tools

That said as a Slickdealer - DeWalt is consistently on sale more and much cheaper ecosystem to get in to than Milwaukee

Personal opinion: Long term - Milwaukee will be the new/already is the new king over DeWalt/Makita however, for your level as a DIYer and hobbyist I think DeWalt may be a better fit assuming you can return what you've already bought!
