unless you are dropping this into an older am4 build, i think with the microcenter bundle deals might be better to just get a 7900x. The 5800x3d would still be faster with cpu bound games and lower power consumption but the bundle deal makes it such that the 7900x is cheaper and you are on the newer platform for future further upgrades.
5900X cant beat the 5800x3d in gaming. The 5800X3D is still up there battling the newest gen CPUs (13th gen - 7000 series) for AMD and intel in gaming.
If your using your PC for gaming, at this price, its totally worth it.

289 sold and shipped from Amazon. I currently have a 1700x and I don't really game that much. Probably will settle for a used 3700x unless some crazy sale happens for a 5600-5950
