    It says Intel UHD graphics but a 1235u should have Iris Xe, I think that's a mistake.

    Yep, mainstream laptops always improve in performance and typically sacrifice on screen and physical materials quality. Hmm, at least the days of 1366x768 displays are mostly behind us.

    No, it is not and it's not actually your fault, Intel has made it very confusing. Basically as per Intel's recommendation, if any specificv laptop is sold with single channel memory, even though it has the can have the capability of running at dual channel after addition of ram, the manufacturer needs to state it as Intel Xe based UHD Graphics because as you know, performance will be almost half with single channel memory.
    This is extremely confusing for an enf user who may completely omits a product thinking of the poor integrataed graphics without realizing that he/she could be missing a great deal.

    For this laptop, I think you are right though because this F1504 series from Asus, always comes with 8GB soldered with one SODIMM slot which is populated with 8GB ram on this model ,meaning running at dual channel.
