This game is a blast and looks gorgeous on my OG Xbox One from 2017. They really squeezed out as much visual quality as possible. At $15 there's a whole lot of game to enjoy. To me the experience feels like the first couple of Halo 1 single player maps, the one where the ship crash lands near a waterfall and Silent Cartographer, where you just have all this open beautiful space to explore and you take it at your own pace.
A higher frame rate doesn't make a game gorgeous, but since you mentioned it, yes I'm sure the newer Xbox is an even better experience. Just giving some hope to the folks out there who haven't bought one yet.

I agree but I wanted more of an end game. I liked how they did the open world design but I felt like they could have done a little more with ease of travel and a slightly more cohesive story without having to collect all the audio logs.
