I see Tb4, so I'm assuming one would connect same as any other eGPU. Did you have a specific question, or ??

Any word on how this is with fan noise under load? Usually MiniPCs provide the speed I need for casual desktops but their fan noise is all over the place.

I have an older NUC but I am happy to see more competition in USFF PCs. That being said, the specs on this look nice but not in my budget.

Just ordered the i7 version the other day. Arriving tomorrow. Curious about the fan noise also. Got my total down to $670 after first responder discount. They might have other discounts through id me as well

Generally, 720p medium-ish settings and 1080p very minimum settings for AAA games. But a lot depends on what they set the thermal limits to. Modern Intel chips have power limits configurable by the manufacturer and for this processor I've seen it set as low as 45W and as high as 90W. When it's set to 90W it'll be almost twice as fast (if your cooling and power supply can keep up), so you can't even compare two different machines apples to apples unless you know what their PL1/PL2 values are.

It'll probably do for what you're wanting, but generally Ryzen APUs are better for gaming while these iGPUs are better for Plex and media boxes.
