Appropriate for PC setup, maybe small bedroom system. I am assuming the sound will be similar across the range, it just depends on what size area you are trying to fill.

This LX3 MII was tested at ASR, did alright.
If you can read the Spinorama and other graphs there is a lot of info. You will still have to listen of course though the testing demonstrates a huge amount of what the speaker offers.
Their return policy is very confusing. So are they covered by 30 day return policy but only if the item has defects?!

These sell for $279.99 all year long on ebay. So don't fall for the $469.99 price. Is this a deal? Yes. But it's only $80 off from the regular selling price.
Mission fan for many years here. Can't comment on these units as I bought their soundbar in their last deal. All missions I've ever heard about 10 types all have great tweeters. Compared a pair of bookshelves to B&W's dm 602 s2 and found the dm's bright with their metallic tweeter. The woofers on missions vary and when I had a pair of M72's with 6.5 woofer vs M31's with 5 inch woofer the tweeters sounded great and were comparable, but the smaller woofer lacked the oomph. They are British mid-fi bought out by a larger group. Can't thumbs up because of the return policy. Their mini bookshelves that used to come with Denon systems seem to hold value on eBay and they are over 20 years old.

It is literally a British HiFi 'propaganda' mag.

They are likely over priced at full retail not even considering the SD mindset.
On sale, likely worth it if you can not wait for JBL 530's, KEF Q150's or an ELAC B series sale.
I'd probably go with the larger woofer version

Mission speakers should be good. Its just not that popular in the USA. You are probably better off with a Q Acoustics or Cambridge Audio speakers.
Also, So little $$$.
