I was about to buy it, but after reading reviews it sounds like one big con that makes this worse than standard pipe wrenches is you have to squeeze the handles together to get it to bite properly. Often using 2 pipe wrenches (1 to hold back), you can't effectively squeeze on both sides particularly if you're in a weird/cramped position.

For my use & needs, I agree on the 12" being too small.
I'm looking to get the 22" version.
But good luck trying to get the 3 size set for anywhere near $100 total, as that's just a pipedream (pun intended).

The pictures on both Lowe's Website and Amazon both shows Article No. 83 63 010 on the item, so I think they're both the same product for the same price. According to Knipex website, the length of the wrench is 330mm which is approximately 13", so I guess they both listed the wrong length description?
