Awesome deal. The display is really good on this. It may not be as bright as lenovo Legion pro series, but it goes around 330-nits and unlike Lenovo's only 100% sRGB coverage, this covers full 100% DCI-P3 and near 90% Adobe RGB color gamut. if you're planning to use a lot of color grading works like Photo and Video editing, publishing, designing, then this display will serve you pretty well.

I picked up a lower one (nitro 5 with i5 cpu and rtx 3060 for $400 from local CL last week). The laptop is built nicely.

Should perform similar but the acer is $200 less and has 32 GB of ram and a 1tb ssd vs 16gb and a 512gn on the HP. HP build quality is probably better but not by much.

Yes, that is post I saw. Honest I think the Acer is a better deal if you are okay with a 15 inch. The CPUs are within a few fps of each other but the AMD uses less power, plus you get 2x the storage for $200 less

Such an ignorant comment. Not because "OMG, but it's Apple!", but because you're comparing the ultimate portability machine to what amounts to a desktop PC with a screen. It's like saying that big dogs are better than small dogs just because that's what you prefer.

People do more than just game on their laptops, which is pretty much the only thing this laptop is better at than a Macbook Air.
