Bonded leather always starts falling apart

"Multi-way 3D Insight lumbar zone" wears down and falls apart after a while. I fixed mine with guerilla glue but I shouldn't have had to. The rubber they coated some metal plate with takes all the load at the joining point and cracks.

I bought this DPS chair last Black Friday on sale for $130. Didn't start using it till after Christmas. All in all, I was not impressed. It feels as if it was comfortable but my back started aching just after a couple of days of long use. More importantly, the bonded leather stitching started tearing after only a couple of weeks. I took it back to Costco with no issues. It was not worth the hassle but you live and learn.
What I did instead was find a decent used Aeron for double the price.

yep will never waste money on garbage like this again, environmentally bad since it wont last, plus the fake leather flake away while the cushion become flat.

Had this chair for going on 2 years and I've been very happy, I'm pretty tall but not very heavy.

This is my son's chair. I can't compare it to steelcase or herman miller, but it's good quality. I can seat in this chair for long hours, and it doesn't give me any pain.
