Bonded leather always starts falling apart

"Multi-way 3D Insight lumbar zone" wears down and falls apart after a while. I fixed mine with guerilla glue but I shouldn't have had to. The rubber they coated some metal plate with takes all the load at the joining point and cracks.

What is Costco return for chairs? I thought they should take return if itnfalls apart so soon?

It is probably cheaper in store and you can test it out to see if it works for you, just a suggestion for those on the fence.
That's what sold it for me..... the lumbar support totally solved my back pain I had versus the horrible stabbing god awful lumbar support in the Staples Hyken mesh I had before.

This chair is made with man made material not bonded leather. Stop making things up
Bonded leather is man-made material. Somehow you're right and wrong at the exact same time.

But mostly wrong.

If they showed a fat couple sitting on this, it would sell out.
I'm not sure what this means but it made me laugh laugh out loud

They have a pretty blanket satisfaction policy. This 100% would be a warranted return if it broke in a reasonable amount of time.

I got this chair from Costco last year. For the price, it is the best chair to get. If you actually want more comfort, you will need to invest quite a bit more for something that has actually lumbar support adjustments. I once worked for a company that got steelcase chairs which had tons of adjustments available. Steelcase chairs are probably the most comfortable chairs you can get, if you are willing to spend the money. This one from Costco will get you by for sure.

If they're available in your area, used steelcase leap chairs are 200-300 and are well worth it.

I bought this chair about 2 years ago for my son and it is still working and looking great!

He is a big guy and zero issues.

I've had this chair since last Black Friday (Nov 2022). For reference I'm 6'2", 200 lbs... and it's pretty solid in terms of support for back, bum and adjustability for height. After owning for 7ish months though, I have one minor complaint with the product.

The recline position is either reclined, or upright. Some office chairs will have toggles with various positions to lock in, or a tension rod to allow you so room to recline but not fully. Within my work office I'm used to a variable setting chair, so still getting used to it the all or nothing aspect of recline here.

Overall though for $150.. it's a good deal for someone looking for home office equipment. I feel very comfortable sitting in it for hours at a time.

Bought two of these last year when they were on sale for 130 dollars. I'm a heavy guy, 280 pounds, and the chair has been so good! My back stopped hurting, and the chair hasn't starting peeling yet.
