And?..... They simply license and sell eyewear under those names. You do know that's pretty common practice for lots of manufactured goods, right?

Yes.. as others point out... you will have hard time seeing the digital dashboard if you're wearing polarized sunglasses. That being said, a lot of drivers/pilots actually wearing non-polarized sunglasses for this specific reason.

Yeah.. I think i watched a documentary that the luxury sun glasses industry actually monopolized by only 1 or 2 manufacturers. They just rebranded as other brands and kinda control the market price...

why I buy only Serengeti glasses now. Serengeti has superior lenses as well, since they're all photochromatic (change to adapt to brightness settings)

Many (most) polarized sunglasses are not compatible with modern "digital dash" or HUDs in autos. The polarization axis needs to be rotated by 90deg.

Most of not all modern cars have polarized windshields. So for in car lots of people don't like polarized for driving along with other reason as stated in the thread.

Try different polarized glasses. I have owned multiple and thier angle of polarization is different. So you may be able to with straight head and not when tilted and vise versa
