Not sure what your question is exactly. The USB-C to MagSafe cable and power adapter are always included and do not have to be bought separately.

I would definitely recommend to buy 16GB RAM, since 8GB RAM is not future proof.

Is there a way to select a mag safe charger with it? Bear with me as I know almost nothing about macbooks but my wife wants one.

these aren't like their windows counterpart, they utilize ram extremely well. 8gb is plenty for the vast majority of people and is totally future proof

Before speaking on product performance. Please test it for yourself. Apple's new M series computers run laps around any Windows machine I have ever owned. I am a long-time user of Windows and will recommend these new Macbooks to anyone.
