Touch sensitive buttons that phantom eject disc. Big issue until Sony removed the forums.

Buzzing Power Supply still in PS5
Slim had press buttons with external power supply.
This PS5 uses less energy and smaller heat sink and a different fan. Would surprise me if they just used a smaller case for the slim now and that is the gamble too.
Look up the Series X for cleaning etc. Way way way simpler cooling design than the PS5 with only like 2 screws compared to 40 removed to clean everything.
The Slim PS5 might be as good as the Slim PS4. Or it might be nothing like it and instead a "pro" model that carries over the same issues as the PS5 now.

Anecdotally, I've had no issues with my original PS4 from 2014 or my Pro from 2017, which I use almost daily. My only complaint is how ridiculously loud the fan gets when running certain games.
I have not seen as good a deal on the Xbox X disc version has this Sony disc version if you have let me know
costco example, could theoretically do it for ps5 as well i believe now
