Asus warranty support is the worst I've dealt with, they refused to replace a dead fan on my card, buyer beware.
I've heard horror stories about RMA'ing ASUS motherboards. I had an issue with my EVGA 2070 super 5 days before the warranty was up. EVGA replaced the card, no questions asked.
Just get a RTX 3060 TI which is better than either of the 8GB or 12GB version sof 3060.
Agree, the 3060 Ti is the sweet spot right now. Pretty close to the 3070. And it's coming down in price. A few sales have been right around $330 lately.
I think its all a question about how much money you want to put up for a card. I personally would look right now for 6650XT or 6600XT under 250 bucks which probably is the best price performance. You can get the 12gb version and pay 15%+ more and that would be exactly what you would get on extra performance. 3060 TI gives you way more performance but you pay 30 - 50% more for that card depending.
This isn't a bad price considering how long NVidia card were overpriced however I don't think its a sweet spot yet either.

Right now the better 3060 is 30$ more on Amazon right now. Msi
Here's the problem with the 3060. Even though it's coming down in price. The 6600xt keeps up with it. And you can get the 6700xt for same price as 3060 often times. And it's significantly better.
Beware this is the 8GB version. In case anyone wasn't aware there are two versions of this card the first (and better) version has 12GB.
Fine, but at the same destination link, choose the 12GB variant and you're only paying $299 on sale which combined with Payboo (zeroing out taxes) is a steal.
