Good luck finding a Hyundai dealership that isn't marking up 7.5k to negate the credit. Tried to buy one last year and they marked up anywhere from 2k minimum to 8k with add-ons.
Hyundai actually found the issue, it was an app that sent a bunch of information/stayed connected when the car is off. Teslas have a worse issue which is phantom drain, since the car stays connected for connectivity/app usage it drains the main drive battery. Ends up making the car horribly inefficient. People come back to their cars with way less drivable range.
When regenerative breaking is applied, the rear break lights don't turn on and there fore higher chance for rear end collision. Imagine you're going 60 and let your gass padel off, within few hundred feet the car will come to stop. Imagine whole time it was slowing down, rear break lights didn't turn on making next vehicle hit you.
Why would you let your foot off on highway for few hundred feet anyways? Regenerative BREAKING is most effective during city driving not as much on highway…

That's absolutely not true. At worst, there might be an issue in iPedal mode if you don't life off the pedal enough. The brake lights work fine in all other driving modes.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the "new" Elon Musk, but F these slimy dealers. F each one of them. I'd rather give my money to Tesla than deal with these bottom dwellers. Car manufacturers need to end this bs system, otherwise they will just keep shooting themselves in the foot on their way to becoming obsolete.
I just want to point out that BMW is electrifying all their vehicles. That means the electric 5 series and 7 series looks the same as the gas powered versions. I think Tesla's days are numbered. Is the Tesla Model S a 2012 design? The car looks the same on the inside and outside but they upgrade the internals. That doesn't sell well to consumers who expect a refresh of models every 4-6 years.
I was an early adopter of the Ioniq 5. Even though there were a few issues, they were all fixed and I have loved the car. I always loved Teslas, (but now can't stand musky) but the main thing the will always keep me on the Korean EV train is V2L. The ability to use that 77 kwh battery in your garage to power stuff is a no brainier and huge value add. I am sure it will become more mainstream in the next 10 years, but seriously I don't think people talk about it enough. I installed a $250 generator panel and have had my car power my house 110v circuits for over 24 hours.

This can be easily fixed in the next OTA software update. How often do they update their software?
all these deals making my 2015 i3 resell value worse... but then BMW just replace my 18kw battery for $32k under warranty so whatever... the car is still good for me for 4-5 more years
How many miles? What was the batter degradation or issue?

Yep and it isn't regenerative braking, it is engine braking in iPedal.

Because the Hyundai and Kia both have single pedal operation, that simulates breaking when you let off the gas. Personally, I just use the Highway assisted cruise control and set the distance between 2 and 3 car lengths depending on the traffic… This works great because it will control the speed limit based on the signs and even handles stop and go traffic without touching the pedal.

Good price, but ionic5 has a known 12v battery problem, Google it so you know what you are getting into. Same for Tesla, Google real Tesla on Reddit. The point is evs are still immature right now, so wait if you can.
Leasing an EV is a great option so you're not stuck with it long term
