get senators to do away with dealers all together for the abuses they have been conducting demand they all close shop if they continue this farce.
toyota is high in demand as a result quite a few are acting like this with their reputation as a result I walked away and got another mazda still japanese.
for EV i suggest just getting a tesla and tell the other companies to go kuf themselves since they are charging over msrp. I rather continue to drive a gas car than pay above msrp and also most of the evs are currently over priced since they all factored in the tax rebate on top of that dealers want in on it as well.
they are up charging batteries that cost tesla 50% below other ev car manufacturers because they make it themselves.
like toyota rav4 prime 42k the battery really should only make it 35k not 42k. but then they factored in the tax rebate.
never the less a big win for them over pricing these vehicles.
stop over paying say no people.
slick deals isn't slick at all right now since people are spamming bad deals with mods being bought out by HF.
EVS are not saving you any money at all when factoring in you need 10 yrs as a payback period.
I got a similar situation for Ford lightning I told them fkuc off.
I will either buy Tesla directly or wait.
I would say all car companies should start selling cars directly like Tesla and take out these sleazy dealers from the equations.
I've been tempted by the lease buyout trick but I'm currently leaning towards waiting and getting a 2025 model, since they're still working out a few minor issues.
I've seen these threads on Reddit but it looks like more people have had success with the lease buyout process. Good luck.
But lease buyout does seem like a workable option.
I'm sure the demand dropped when the tax credit went away, though.
