10L is pretty small. It's good for a couple beers, a snack, and things like chapstick. It's not great for also needing to stuff a jacket in. 18-22L for me is the sweet spot for day bags. It's small enough to fill the same as this pack, but you have a little extra space when needed. Still a good price if you need to make kids carry their own stuff.
I got it for a 5 year old and it fits them well. Also this is a pretty normal price for it maybe 50 cents cheaper
You put a 5 year old in the backpack?

You monster!

I use this bag as a secondary bag to have when travelling. Just makes it easier to throw beach/pool stuff into it to carry to water without needing to use my more expensive (and nicer) back pack that I carry on a plane. And not concerned with the sand beating it up much.

Has enough space to carry beach towel, sun screen, BT speaker, smartphone, etc.

It can be folded or compressed down to be pretty small so fits in the suitcase taking up virtually no space.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, but in this case that was exactly what I was looking for.

I have this bag and I hate that it doesn't have a side pocket to hold a water bottle.

I got one of these last time around.

First, it is a $5 backpack.

Second, yes, it is small, cheap[ly made] and guess what — you get what you pay for.

Last, it is a $5 backpack.

The biggest concern I had is the zipper, I don't anticipate it will hold up with a heavy use.

As long as you keep that in mind, you're going to be satisfied.
