That's simply not true. My ancestors used this exact same Camp Chef model when they were pioneering the western frontier. Are you going to say that they weren't really camping?

Good deal for this model but wanted to point out that Costco usually puts the deluxe model on sale a few times a year , $199 . It has 9K burners .

Good deal! Camp Chef is a quality brand and this is the lowest price I've ever seen this stove at.
However note that the top burners are 7,500 btu each, not the 10k btu versions.

Edit/Correction: Altho the BBQGUYS web page lists the burners at 7,500 btu each, that's wrong. This Deluxe model (Model: COVEND) comes with 9,000 btu burners.

I wonder if this might be good in place of my Big Buddy Heater in my ice fishing shack.
It looks to take up about the same space yet I'd have 2 burners available for cooking while using the oven as the heater. My Buddy heater is 18k BTU (on high). I wonder how this oven (with the door open) would compare to that as a heat source. Any thoughts?

edit: Sorry. I could have easily read that the burners are 7.5k (or 9k) each and the oven is 3k. So I guess if I had all on high it might be equivalent. But it won't have the radiant heat factor of the Buddy Heater. Still might be worth a try at this price though.
