I got one of these....well built. I had to sand the Quick Disconnect head on my pressure washer wand to work with the male QD fitting. The center collar stuck out past the release collar so the male fitting would not seat deep enough. 5 min fix.

    It's true. Faucet gets turned off once freezing starts and it's a pain to turn it back on , use this and drain and turn it back off.

    Although this year I did it once on a warm week.

    Simple, you could run a garden hose from your hot/cold indoor water faucet with an adapter like this

    Then drain the PW or put it in basement/garage out of the elements.
