Good find, thanks! I have one of these which works great. My only gripe is the design which I feel is a big step back from the older models. The Ethernet jack is on the side of the unit rather than hidden inside the ceiling mount. I can't figure out a way to do a clean ceiling mount without the cord exposed on the side and going through a hole into the ceiling. If anyone has any solution to this, please let me know!

Been running Omada for 2 years at my house with the ER605V2 and 3 WAPs. Have a controller set up in a VM on a mini PC. The system is fantastic and I've had zero issues and no down time except firmware updates, which I schedule for overnight.

Thanks for the tip. That would definitely work, but would be a bit messier of an install with a larger drywall hole and additional connector/patch cable. I'd almost rather paint the cable and just live with it; I just can't understand how their entire current line of APs was designed without an easy way to hide the cable. A glaring oversight in an otherwise excellent line of APs.

It's a gigabit POE port. I'm currently connected wirelessly to my EAP610, and internet speed testing shows ~500 Mbps.

Have an eap670 set up for about 8 months now. Wifi needs here are simple, so no controller, just configured via the gui. All the vlan options truly put consumer grade wifi systems to shame.

I have a asus router in AP mode, and thinking of adding this to extend my range. If I configure both AP with the same SSID, do clients pick whatever is in better range? Do clients auto reconnect when moving closer to the AP it was not initially connected to?
