What a joke. $800+ for a 12GB card in 2023 is super hard pass.
May be the joke on you. The deal is for a product is if that is available at a discount from the MSRP or the current market price. The stock version of RTX 4070 Ti has a MSRP of $800 and literally everywhere it is selling over that. The Custom PCB versions are even costlier, even going near $900 and compared. Cpmpared to that, this is probably one of the lowest price for RTX 4070 Ti, if not the lowest.
Now, if you have issue or grudge against Nvidia's RTX 4000 series lineup or the asking price, that is a different issue but that doesn't make this a bad deal.
While i think the value of nvidia cards at the moment is a joke. I would strongly suggest waiting to buy a card IF you can wait.
This is an okay price. Many places are doing a bundle with diablo 4. These cards are running 800ish which is pretty much this price. IE: newegg has a zotac for 790.
I begrudgingly accept that I am getting raked over the coals if I'm in the market for a rtx 4000 series card, but I do want one of these 4070 ti cards. Trying dlss3 and frame gen on a friend's rig, I can't see not having both features. And I want the fastest card in the $800-900 range and sadly this is it. The only downside is the 12gb ram.
There's already some games that have maxed out 12gb. Like the new Resident Evil 4 remake, for example. I'll just turn down some settings, I guess.

Can you show me any reviews showing that for Resident Evil 4 exceeding 12GB video Ram? I have checked plenty and even at 4K highest settings with RT on, it is between 11GB and 12GB and that is litrally an extreme scenario. Below is one such review: https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...sis/4.html

First the review you pointed to.. "RAM usage is pretty high across the board, with even 1600x900 allocating 9.1 GB (11 GB with ray tracing)."
At this point 12gigs is not much of a limitation in my opinion but at $800 i think a bit of future proofing is a reasonable expectation. I would probably consider a 7900XT at this price point since it has 20gb of VRAM which is overkill... for now..

meanwhile 3070 Ti was $599 released in 2021 $200 price increase isn't justified.
Man I really want a new video card but like common a blizzard game? It's not like they keep their promises, I would totally bite for a two recent tried and proven AAA but not preorders too many companies are casting in their reputación for easy money

Rtx 3070ti is still selling between $525-$550. So about a 13% drop in two years. Assuming same, you can buy a 4070ti in 2025 for $700. Have fun waiting two years for a $70 discount if that even happens.
Edit - however, Antonline can be really hit or miss with returns. There are many nightmare stories of people waiting months for refunds or not getting a response.

if you are looking at 4k or even 1440p then it will be much higher.
