I do live sound at small venues. There's a few things I don't like about this mixer. There's no balance control on inputs so the L and R channels are just the same (unless you use the overall pan knob, which-- why is that even there, so bizarre?). There's also no way to feed a stereo source into it and maintain the L/R separation. The USB connector is Type-A which is non-standard and could easily lead to someone plugging a thumb drive into it or something (it should be Type B). The BT feature is cute, but suggests using this in a live setting where you would use BT for house music, so the lack of balance controls really stings. Same with the built in effects. I guess if you desperately need 6 mic preamps and are targeting a mono mix anyway this is the cheapest way to do it (maybe for a podcast?) but if you paid for 6 half decent microphones you should probably be spending more than this on your mixer. I try not to be a hater of off-brand gear but I'm just having trouble seeing exactly who this is for.

I bet it's sick for no-input noise music though.

Would these good enough to to plug music from a phone and use 2 mics to sing along (karaoke)
And output through an AV receiver and record the audio (don't know whether the output can go to an AV and a recording target simultaneously)

In theory, yes you could do that. You could use the RCA outputs to go to your AV receiver and the main outputs to go to whatever you are using to record. Looking at this closer, I'm not sure that it will even directly interface with a computer if you are trying to record that way, it might only record to a USB drive or something. That said, if I were trying to do what you suggest, there's dozens of no-name mixers on Amazon at a similar price that I'd buy first.

Don't get this. Get one of the Yamaha MG. I got an MG06X. IT's a bit more money but you get what you pay for esp if you're signing and don't want to deal with random noise and static stuff.

Check youtube / tiktok for video on those MG. They can be had cheap for new on ebay/amazon or used market at a lot of music store

These cheap ones always have noise/static? Seems to be how the audio world works. If you don't buy the super high priced stuff you get garbage. Hell I bought a Bluetooth speaker that the video reviews of top scumbags err I mean audio kiddies on youtube said was good an the reviews on Amazon was like it's great an the low end is t-rash
