It's a sort of hybrid design. It feels like a normal scroll wheel--notchy, with resistance--when you're scrolling slowly. But if you flick it with some more force then it will spin a lot and scroll a long way. I like it a lot.
How would this compare to the MX Vertical?
It's a complete waste until you're 50 and develop carpal tunnel from years of closing pop-up ads and captcha images.

There are also cheaper ergonomic options, but they're cheaper, not better. If you've got smaller hands and need an ergonomic mouse this is really it.

I have the regular lift (looks the same). I didn't know there was a business one. I use mine through BT as it didn't come with the dongle as this does. Would the dongle help my connectivity issues? When I use my lift via BT while using my headphones (AirPods gen 2) via BT I get Connection issues more than I'd like.

absolutely. This one comes with new Bolt dongle and is designed for fast and stable connections across business and home platforms. Otherwise, it's exactly same mouse.

It's a lot smaller and doesn't have a rechargeable battery. You would need to try both in person unless you know you have really large hands.

I have the MX vertical & using it via BT to Fire 10 tablet. Wish it had the fast scrolling feature though

I bought this mouse (not the business version though) and returned it for the MX Master 3S. The Lift is too aggressive for me personally in terms of verticality. I did like the silent clicks and scroll wheel though!

I bought both and returned the Lift. Unless you have *really* small hands, I think the Vertical is the way to go. (For reference I'm not a big guy and thought that the Lift was way too small)

yeah i ordered both & did the opposite. The Lift definitely feels better for my small hands than the Vertical.

Really wish Logitech would make a vertical MX Master. I want a vertical mouse but don't want to give up the dual scroll wheels and infinite scroll functionality.
