I wanted to start out by saying that these are overpriced, to be sure. That said, they've been in very high demand ever since Knipex started selling them, and according to CCC, this is the lowest price ever from Amazon UK. I don't think they've ever been sold cheaper at Amazon in the USA. Your call, but if you're interested, these are sold and shipped by Amazon (UK) and this is the lowest price ever.

If anyone's seen these cheaper - ever, then please lmk (also, Mr Worker and their $20 + shipping prices does not count).

Yes it's super overpriced but it's easy to see the appeal. I'm interested but is the UK version any different or is it the same thing regardless of region?

Same model number worldwide.

I've wanted these for a while but still not at this price.

I think I'll bite at $30. If that never happens then I guess I'll never own a pair.

Yeah, they're the exact same things as sold in the USA. I believe why there are such good deals coming out of Amazon UK is due to the favorable USD vs GBP exchange rate. It's allowing the UK prices to beat some of the prices in the US. Otherwise, it's the exact same tool. It's been frustrating to find these any cheaper than the mid 40's... this is about as low as they go... for now.

The 5 inch knipex are my goto for anything involving small bolts/nuts (3d printer work, electronics, things involving aluminum extrusion). They sometimes go cheaper than this, but are easily worth it even at around this price. Maybe they don't save THAT much time over finding the right wrench for a specific size, but they definitely FEEL like they do, especially when it's only the one tool to store for quick access and keep track of too. The spring lock mechanism rough adjustment along with plier type grip is just unbeatable imo.

I can't think of a reason I'd "need" these 4 inch ones when I have the 5 inch and those are already nicely small, but geeze these are so cute (and, equally, look so nice) it's hard to resist lol

I have 12 10 and 8 inches ones. I've used them all, but the 8s are the go-to. The smaller one here would take some of that action and be tiny while doing it.
