    Underworld. Blade. I'm sure there are others since 1985. Of course, this is subjective. I Am Legend. It is debatable if you would consider the monster people "vampires" in that one.

    Actually, one of the better modern remakes of a semi-horror classic. Different feel and vibe of course, but each movie can be appreciated without the other.

    Other way around. Last Man on Earth was before Omega Man. There was also I am Omega with Mark Dacascos. There is disagreement on x being a remake of y or if they are different takes, but they are all adaptations of I Am Legend by Matheson.

    As far as Fright Night. I am a huge fan of the original. I hated this remake when it came out, but I warmed up to it over time. There is plenty to like here despite its weaknesses, but it is best if you don't watch it comparing to the original.

    Eh, for $3.99? Why not. That's how much I paid last year for "The French Connection" Blu-ray and now it's selling for over $100 on eBay. Big Grin

    Just a side note, actor of this movie Anton Yelchin (lead teen in the movie) died in 2016. He died by getting pinned between his Jeep Grand Cherokee and a brick pillar gate post outside his house in Studio City, Los Angeles. Old and new fright nights are enjoyable.
