Don't know about purses or other bags but I have a couple backpacks that have a nylon/plastic loop thing inside one of the pockets so one can hook things to it. I hooked airtags to it. I can see this case going there too vs having it loose in the pocket where's harder to find.

I always mess up my headphones but I haven't messed up or lost my good BT headphones at all and I just keep them in my pocket. Since I don't fight terrorists or skate and iron at the same time would a pouch do just as well?
