Would assume these are all basically the same - eg., relatively disposable, service life will be dictated by where you live/how you store it. In Florida, lucky to get a couple of years out of a smoker since shoddy materials degrade with air/weather conditions.

I have a Pit Boss version which is currently "on the shelf" which is the first (I think I've had 2 other iterations of this style) to have suffered electronic failure, fwiw.

It's a pellet grill, they don't really work that well as smokers as it is (as far as creating the traditional smoke flavor). So if you really want good smoke flavor, get a charcoal gravity fed (not to mention you can grill on them). If you don't really care about the smoke flavor... a pellet grill will work.

I have had this pellet grill for about 2 months and overall I am happy with it. It is my 1st pellet grill, so not a lot of experience. It has 2 food temperature probes and an ash bucket which is nice. Only negative so far is I can not get it to go above 405 degrees.

How does this compare to a Traeger? I have an older Traeger but need to replace it. This seems super inexpensive in comparison.
