Will be sub $135 shortly. NVDA continues to have serious legacy inventory problems. It's hardly clearing inventory and its current strategy of waiting for a magical return to demand for stale cards at inflated prices is not panning out. To the contrary, gaming gpu demand continues to decline.

$135 would be nice but we have been hearing this for 5 years. $135 in today's money is like expecting a a current gen (or close) GPU to be $70. Not likely to occur unless Nvidia goes out of business.
And just wondering...where did the $135 price come from?

LOL, so ignoring 8 years of inflation? Bet he or she doesn't want their pay or home value moved back to 2016 levels but GPUs are different
If you account for inflation the 1050 Ti launched at almost exactly this price, so this is a pretty good deal.
Except that was the launch price, and I'm pretty sure you could get a 1050 Ti for under $100 by the time it reached EoL, so the $135 price expectation is not too far off what a "good" price would be for this card after this long on the market

So wait until the 3050 is long obsolete before buying it. Just don't complain the tech is outdated when you want an outdated tech price and are comparing to another outdated tech's price.
