I have the 50 foot, 3/8" version of this hose and for those that want to be 'super-prepared' on long highway road trips, I carry it when on the road with a ($5) gladhand (tractor trailer quick-hookup) with a quick release outlet screwed into it to attach the hose. Great hose, soft & super flexible, yet durable.
On 2 occasions this cheap/easy attachment was a savior and allowed me to get air in the middle of nowhere, from good samaritan tractor trailer drivers.
I also carried one in my truck when I was driving tractor trailer and used it to help out a few motorists over the years, who were stranded when they discovered their full-size spare was flat.
EDIT: I just bought the 100 foot 1/2" diameter hose with the 1/2" end fittings for $62.48, which turns out to be the best deal of the bunch (if you want that size), at 56% off and lowest price ever. That's 62¢/ft compared to this deal at 78¢/ft. Either one is a great deal.
I already have fittings if I want to reduce the end fittings to 3/8".
