I once combined one of these with a noodle soup mix and the combination was super salty. I think I would prefer to cook some noodles with onion powder so I don't get the salt they want to get us addicted to. I wonder if I can use onion powder instead of the Lipton onion soup with sour cream to get onion dip.

Use these often. Great in meatloafs and Salisbury steak. This amount would cost $10 at Walmart. Great deal. Even Sams Club is 3x the price.

I remember Costco has a 4-pack (I think) of these for very cheap too. I just don't remember the exact price, but certainly this deal is better.

In for 1...time to dust off the crock pot and get some roasts!

I cut fresh potatoes up into french fries, and mix with olive oil and 1 packet of onion soup mix. I pour on a foil-covered baking sheet and bake the fries at 350 for 30 minutes until done (can vary depending on how done you want your potatoes and how thick you cut the fries). This is by far the cheapest price I've paid for these packets. Thanks OP.
