They ONLY have 25 stores, oftentimes even doubling up in the same major city like the two in Atlanta, when I was lucky enough to live there, or Chicago. Most of them are only in the NE and upper Midwest.
There's not any in New Orleans and absolutely zero in all of Florida. The closest ones are about seven hours away, and it's like that for at least 2/3 of the nation, if not more.
Stick to the merits of the deal? What merits if it's not available? You mean merits like it being an actual feasibly obtainable deal, which Microcenter deals are not for most people? You sound awfully touchy and defensive about someone pointing out the FACT that Microcenter deals may as well not exist for most of us. A deal that is available is not possibly inferior to a deal that is not available. Your comment is simply not logical.

IMO, MSI has crappy bios and their rgb software is not great when trying to link up all components/parts. ASUS has really good tools for that and this board looks way nicer. I plan to have a set up where you can see into my case (NZXT H710i) so I am being a bit wasteful. I am paying extra for aesthetics which is why I said it's a bad deal for 90%+.
Would love to filter off *all* "in-store" deals, period, but I don't think it's an option.
What's brilliant of Micro center after all, is their price decision making team who's on par with Costco's, sharp and up to date which is why often time they're willing to cut deep discount and stay one step ahead of the market. You got to give them for that for much better informed and not being stupid.

Stick to the merits of the deal and stop complaining.
This is indeed inferior to the MS deal.

What are you talking about? Have you ever looked at a map of their coverage?
