Monitor/kids room, spare room, kitchen. So many things
Those use cases all scream $150 budget/BF deal - not an $800 OLED. If you've got the 77" OLED in the living room already, and can't live with anything less elsewhere, then maybe. But yeah, this is for monitor usage.

How does one get the BestBuy warranty that covers burn-in?
Given all their layoffs and store closures just this year, that warranty may be worthless when you actually need it.

OTOH, they do seem to be like a cockroach that just won't accept its fate.

From all the reviews I've seen the C3 is not worth the price difference. It's the same screen with a slightly better processor. If you want a big upgrade, wait till next year when some of the features of this year's G series moves to the C series.

Does anyone use this as a computer monitor? Please share your feedback.

Update: based on the reviews on Amazon, this monitor could be great for "gaming", but the text is not as sharp/clear as LCD monitor. So, wouldn't recommend it for productivity.
I purchased this last week and yeah the text is a little blurry and ugly. For gaming it's awesome tho and movies.

for clear text would recommend Dell S2721DGF

Samsung - 28" ViewFinity UHD IPS AMD FreeSync with HDR Monitor - Black or Dell p2720dc https://www.cdw.com/product/dell-...or/6602695 the Samsung being the clearest of the three.

Which processor is better? This 42 c2 or the recent lg 48gq900 monitor? I'm thinking about returning that and getting this used with 5 year warranty. I don't care for the DisplayPort on the 48 , I just use for computer work and ps5 gaming

How far back are folks sitting back from this when used as a monitor? Are they placing on desk/arm or wall mounting?

No and no. Wait for the 48 to go 800 or lower. Its been 700 new before on Buydig. I got one from Buydig for 800 and I feel like I should have waited.

This needs to be in the $600 range. Hell C3 has been out for a while and soon we'll be on C4

I have a lg A2 OLeD 48 on my desk and it's too big for me. I am wondering beyond size does the c2 change anything with lag? I notice some lag.

Just picked up the Sony A90k for $713 which was the Best Buy open box that only had 13 hours of operation... now deciding if I should return it for this
Seriously? The A90K is superior. Sell it to me if you don't want it. 😁
