Probably. I believe it's a 3 yr warranty. Good stuff!!

I've had the exact opposite experience buying from 3rd party manufacturers from Walmart.com. One in particular was ridiculous. Bought a Chita Living memory foam mattress online, didn't like the lack of firmness (despite the reviews), mattress self-inflates upon unboxing. Brought it back to Walmart and they refused to accept the return because it couldn't be shipped back to the manufacturer because it couldn't go back in the box. Contacted the manufacturer and the best they would offer me was a half refund. Took a loss selling the thing and Walmarts customer service for their online business is nothing but a prerecorded message that dead ends and hangs up. Horrible experience. Never again.

Third party? Hart is the manufacturer. If you take the deal, your getting shipped directly from them.

In other words, Hart is a third-party seller through the Walmart website. You're getting the items from Hart instead of Walmart, which sometimes means the return policy can differ. Walmart also sells the same items directly from them, but not at the big discounts seen here. That said, I wouldn't be too concerned about it, given the very close relationship between Walmart and Hart tools and the overall reliability for most of them.

Mine finally shipped from a few weeks ago.

mine too.

it's happened twice for me.

I'm sending back all my hart tools, and sticking with ryobi.

at least I know I'll get the tool when I order it.

I wonder if they didn't have a good idea how many they had in stock. I'm guessing they had them on clearance due to the non-retail packaging. Mine were in a plain cardboard box. They weren't just thrown in but actually packed just like they would be in the retail box. So I'm guessing they were clearing inventory. Walmart likely accepted more offers that Hart could fill. Too bad as these are certainly acceptable quality and quite a bargain at $40.

Someone in another thread said they were told that some orders were automatically canceled on the Walmart end because they lagged in the system more than 48 hours after expected fulfillment. Places like that usually aren't as quick to fulfill orders as the places that do it all the time. (Hart mostly seems to sell through Walmart and direct sales from them only seem to come in spurts.) I ordered a brushless drill and it came in a regular retail box with a label slapped on it. Their whole ordering and shipping process seem a bit haphazard, probably since it's not something they do all the time.

Those companies often order in huge bulk from their factories overseas for the best volume pricing and I wouldn't be surprised if they got a shipment that had their warehouse jam-packed or over-filled and the sale prices were a way to clear some space and get things out quickly, even if they didn't even have everything boxed up yet. However, the volume of orders may have been overwhelming for a place that doesn't have a full shipping department. Just my thoughts anyway.
