Bought one refurbished shark unit last year and a plastic hook that held the bottom part was broken so has to return. It was just a bit dirty too. I would not recommend unless you are okay with the hassle of returning.

I had an navigator back from like 2008, recently had to get a new one, boy have they cheaper out on things, the cord on my old one was atleast 30ft +, these new ones are like 20ft and when you have a house that idiots designed, that extra 10ft was a God sent. Overall construction is very cheap plastic, although their self cleaning brush head is a AWESOME. It doesn't pull itself nearly as good on carpet. Also don't like how the brush roll spins on bare floor mode, it often will fling stuff away. Overall I'm not too disappointed with the updated version, but shaving 5-10ft off the cord is so ooooo annoying!

I've bought 4, both cordless and corded. All had various signs of use, but definitely used and no way passing as a store return or anything minor. Varied from knicks/scratches to staining in the clear container compartment. Were clean though for the most part and add on parts could have passed as never used.

All have worked flawlessly for a a few years, and not much noticeable degradation on the battery on the cordless ones either.

Also bought a refurbed vacuum from them a while back. The vacuum works well but it's definitely well used previously. Lots of cosmetic blemishes with little scratches everywhere and the add on brush was dirty.

Default included 90 day warranty for refurb is horrible.

You really have to buy the extended warranty, so add another $10+ to any of these "deals"

Personally prefer to do certified refurbs through eBay since they bundle it with 2 year warranty
