The number "900" in the product name is arbitrary nonsense and shouldn't be inferred to be a lumen output of these things. The headlamp is 300, the rear is 20. It's better than nothing at all, but it's not 900 lumen for $13 or $35.

I'm surprised that the Nightrider did not sued Bell since they have a pretty much identically named bike headlight.

BTW, really depends on what method you judge Walmart vs Kmart. For example, I've never been scared of being robbed / assaulted / defecated on etc at a Kmart...by either a customer or employee. Now, I have never seen a customer or employee inside of a Kmart so that could be part of the equation.

When KMart closed, Walmart's spectrum of customers expanded to fill the vacuum. So goes my working theory. Target got the Sears customers.

This is a decent deal but don't think it's great. The original price ($35) is way overpriced for a set with such low brightness.

Never heard of Rose's, but Marc's it's where is at. One time they found a human head in one of the boxes. This light seems like something that would be sold at Marc's.

Rose's is / was (not many left) a lot like Kmart with a little BigLots mixed in. There are still some floating around the South. No human heads though.

I'd prob suggest the rock bros 1000 lumen ones. I don't know if they make them anymore but they've been solid until one of the retaining clips broke. Used for years including up to 5 hours at a time on night rides to the border here.
