There was a better deal last week with accessories included! Husky 10 Gal. Portable Air Compressor + Air Impact Wrench + Air Ratchet + Hose (slickdeals.net)

Edit:
This appears to be the same deal. Sorry about that.

Read some reviews and I'm convinced it's user error. Follow the maintenance and learn how to use these for maximum utility.

I did a sprinkler blowout on a 1gal silent and was looking for something bigger. I think this is solid for some light to moderate work and uses. Only real issue I'm worried about with this unit is the noise. The silent compressors are not that much more money, but that 10 decibels makes it much easier to have refilling while you work near it.

Would I be better served buying this over a smaller 6gal tank just for tires Given all the extra stuff it has?

I've had this for a few years. Actually picked it up on clearance at home depot for 50 bucks. No complaints. I have it in a semi permanent spot with a 50ft hose reel mounted on the wall. It really only gets used to fill tires, blow up things, compressed air to blow grass or sawdust off my clothes and for a brad nailgun It's great at these things.

I've had no issues with it.

I have this one as well. Purchased in December of 2016 for $149, I believe it was from a post on SD because I think it was $50-80 off at the time. It has been fantastic! Really glad I bought it. Got a 3/8 50' hybrid Husky air hose at the same time and it has been solid as well. Only tip I would give for a first time buyer would be to invest in brass fittings versus the cheap zinc plated fittings and air chucks you can get there at the big box stores. Spend a few more bucks and get some good solid brass stuff and never have to replace it (if you're a homeowner that is, commercial use is another thing entirely).

Would this be sufficient for putting together a 200' fence with a nail gun?

Is inflating tires all you need? I have an eight gallon and it was a hassle dragging it out to my car or starting it up just for a bike tire. I got the Ryobi inflator and haven't started my air compressor since. Unless you want to use air tools or are inflating a lot of tires, I would recommend a battery powered inflator.

Absolutely it would be plenty, but unless you have an unusual property with pathways around the working area, I'd rather have a pancake compressor for portability. The Metabo HPT "The Tank" is a very nice higher end compressor, and it actually is a more powerful compressor (4.0 CFM at 90 psi) than this, but it doesn't have the larger volume tank. The Ridgid 6 gallon (2.6 CFM at 90psi) on sale is a fantastic value. Either is more than capable of fence building outside of professional needs firing rapidly with two guns.

This post is more of a stationery compressor. It's an entry level workshop compressor. I'd rather just have the portable now and get a 40 gallon compressor a shop late if I didn't have the immediate need. To figure out what you need find the highest demand tool you can envision using and then work backwards.

Get a pancake compressor if all your doing is tires.
