I buy this $2 Mini Hook and Pic Set about once a year because I'll lose one of the pieces or I'll give it to someone who can use it. I've bought close to 10 of them and wish I had started using them years prior. Harbor Freight does carry a more durable set but this cheap version is all I typically need.

I tried their AAA batteries once and will never purchase them again. Batteries didn't last long during use and the rest of the batteries in the pack "expired" much sooner than expected. Just wouldn't work.

The $5 telescoping magnetic pickup tool is great to have when needed. Not great build quality so I'd get a nicer one if it'll be used often. I use it maybe once a year and always glad it's there when needed.

Everything HF sells will have different tiers of quality. The more you use it, consider increasing the quality/price. And at some point you might want to put money towards a more dependable brand not sold at HF.

True, but the maximum difference in savings will only be $1. For an item in the middle of this price range (i.e., $5) the difference is just 50 cents. Consider whether these amounts are worth holding out for the coupon you are referring to.

Yep, HF excludes are hit or miss. They always list Bauer. but I was able to get their Bauer tool backpack for 25% off.

I got my eye on this since my driveway isn't smooth enough for the other creepers. Even the 3 inch wheels get stuck. I spend more time trying to get away from some pebble then working under my truck.

Man i really wish that Icon flex head bit set had like 8,10,12,13,14mm 1/4in sockets rather than torx bits. That would be a fantastic kit if it had those.

You might want to do a little price comparison on those 10 inch pliers at HF. The 20% off coupon gets the price down to $32 while the 12 inch Channellock pliers are regular priced $23 at HD. I bought my Channellock pliers back in the 80s and they still look good as new.
