I have this. It's "meh" at best.

I have the bigger version of these, the ones that they gave away for free with any tool, about 3 of them, 2 of them stopped working after the third use. they still sound as if they are trying to pump but they are clogged up or something. I used them to spray some pesticide in my garden. just in case this helps someone who has similar plans.

I turned a larger one into a portable airhorn. This one could work for that purpose as well and might even be a better candidate. You could mount the compressor inside the water tank and the horn on top.

Seems to be the standard price as it's the same price, roughly at HomeDepot.com

for 10 more bucks you can get the bigger version: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../314319230

Is there a source of hacks you can do these things out on the Internet?

Has anyone tried this with Car details? Like quick detailer or liquid wax? Let me know if it's gonna work that instead of using spray bottles

This sprayer works great for officers and homes. Whether you're doing direct connect spraying or misting the air, this is a good tool to use.

Oh god don't buy this. These were given away with any and every order from Direct Tools Outlet sales. I personally had 11 of these at one time, can't even give them away.

I got two free as well. My wife uses one to spray distilled water on her plants for moisture. Over a year later it is still working good as new.

No it's not gonna work on anything very thick like spray wax. It'll sputter and squirt out the product until the nozzle clogs. I had the big $200 version of this and it was a total disappointment.

This is the best cordless electrostatic sprayer for the money imo.

Would this work with a liquid like a tanning oil or thin sunscreen(like they use in the pressurized spray bottles)? Looking to spray the kids down quicker

I have the bigger one that was free a while back as well. I have been rinsing and spraying water through when finished and has been fine. Used about 7 or 8 times.
