So, normally I wouldn't post this, but the company is openly advertising that you should order, use the money back guarantee, and enjoy free product. So that's basically the only reason why I'm posting this.

This is the AD that they posted on their official page advertising you to make up an excuse and get a free refund:
https://www.facebook.com/oatsovernight/videos/1203708790333681 [facebook.com]

Basically build your own box of $84 one time shipping overnight oats, (DO NOT select the monthly subscription stuff). Pick out 24 flavors and you get a free shaker bottle.

It ships in about a week, I waited till 2 days after, replied to their support email saying, "Wanting to get a refund, not really happy because of X." They let you keep the product.

There was 0 follow up and 2 days had a 100% refund on my credit card.

The product is decent, I think once a week it's nice, but there is a lot of sugar in this.

Again, normally, I wouldn't do this, or suggest to do this because of that whole karma thing, BUT since the company is running an AD saying to do this, I think it's ok.

Donate the food if you don't like it.

Wonder if that "influencer" was paid for that? If so there is nothing labeling it as an ad (verbally/on-screen text) but it honestly feels like an ad. I'd assume their hope is that people like the product enough not to request a refund.

Lol. No wonder why companies are increasingly prudent on returns.
4lb bag is like $10 and get some almonds and granola for $5, call it a day.

I am fine with taking offers that are so good that I know it is a promotional loss leader or a closeout due to ... reasons.

But I am not ready to ask for a refund because I claim I don't like the product, and actually make that my entry and exit plan. That is not a promotion or a discount. It is telling a lie. Not for me.

Now, find an offer with stacks of coupons and other discounts, I might be all over it.

I imagine the company hired the person the same way all the other 'influencers' are hired, via fiverr.

I do have a screenshot from when it appeared in my feed with the "Sponsored" word. (See Attached). I just 'saved the video' to post it later which then removes the "sponsored" portion. & encouraging you to "Take advantage of this policy before it's changed."

But yeah, normally I wouldn't post something like this. But since they ran the idea as an AD I just feel like it's fair game.

Here's a simple recipe. Add almond milk and quaker old fashioned oats into a jar and let it sit in the fridge overnight. When ready to eat, add fruit of choice (I go with blueberries or banana or both), cinnamon, and honey. Simple, cheap, and delicous

Oh yeah I'm not meaning you're shilling or anything. I just mean I'm personally not a fan of this marketing direction and much prefer a "buy it and then we'll venmo/paypal you a refund" or provide stacking coupons like unfrozen mentioned above.

Just to clarify. The refund policy is only good on a first-time purchase (per the FAQs).

We offer a full money-back guarantee on all first-time purchases up to a 24-pack. No returns needed. If you aren't loving it, just contact our Customer Support team at [email protected]. Also, if you love Oats Overnight but simply don't enjoy the flavors from your most recent order, we're happy to replace them with a flavor you love at no additional cost with your next box, as a part of our "Love it or Swap it" guarantee.

The real value of similar oatmeal packs you could do the same thing with adding PB2 or Nutella is pretty low from the store anyway. Not really worthwhile for me to jack with. Seems like it would be strange drink/chewing oatmeal. I like my oatmeal on the thick side. Enjoy!

I ordered this. Today I emailed them simply saying "I'd like a refund" and two minutes later they replied confirming that a full refund was approved and in progress.

Seems like a good product though. I tried banana something and chocolate sea salt, both microwaved with chocolate almond milk.

The girl in the video says she ordered with the intent of asking for a refund to get free product but then she says she picked the subscription option because it was cheaper. LMAO
