GameStop finally has these in stock again. Just ordered myself one. Worst case it can be returned to the store if it arrives in unsatisfactory condition.

Other stores have refurbished/used Edge controllers for $180 usually.

Too bad they are not worth the price..50% less battery life than normal
My standard PS5 controller only lasts 2 hours. That's terrible.

After having my Xbox Elite controllers dying every 1-3 years, I switched over to this. It's a great controller, but I highly recommend buying a long term warranty replacement with a new one. You'll end up saving money in the long term. It will wear down.
It is quite easy to repair Elite controllers and usually for NO money outside of some IPA and perhaps shims.

$150-200 is roughly 1/3 or more of the system itself. Yikes lol. Switch has their pro controllers for $60 and they're amazing. This is definitely a cash grab.

Have had 3 controllers since release and I haven't noticed any drift.

These are different from refurbished items you get elsewhere. Most of the time it means they never touched the customers hands but needed a repair after the product testing. At gamestop it most likely means it was a customer trade in that was cleaned and adjusted if it had drift. I would call it "renewed" if anything.

I have experienced drift with these new controllers and I take very good care of them. Sony expects you to pay shipping to have them repaired with their 1 year warranty. It's an absolute scam. Just return them to any store if they drift on you within 1 year.

In what world do we live in where people are ok with paying over $100 for a controller?

The majority of my Elite issues came from face buttons not registering properly and I was never able to fix that issue. I had an Elite v1 where the grip started coming off. I did have one with missed inputs on the left bumper and left trigger that I was able to fix. I loved the controller, having two of each generation over it's lifespan. I still think it makes more sense to pay $30 for a 3-year warranty and have whatever issue covered, and I don't usually go for extended warranties.

The last one I had, Costco returned for full price, 13 months later, so I migrated to the Dualsense Edge.

I have had almost every console and never had stick drift except on my N64. I blame Mario Party tug of war for that.

Going to try it out. The Victrix BFG felt good but the triggers wouldn't activate sometimes depending on your settings.

The Edge is sadly the only way to have multiple custom button mappings and I'm a lefty. I do a lot of remapping.

WTF. Are you guys doing to your controllers? Seriously. I have 4 elites, including 2 from the OG elite bundle, so like almost a decade old. I have a series 2 and a core as well. I have 2 of these edge controllers purchased day 1. I have experienced zero issues with all 6 of these controllers. Are you guys just extremely rough with these? I dont understand

After 48 days of having mine which was new directly from Sony I developed significant controller drift, I've had a PS5 since they came out and it's the 3rd controller to get the issue; the standard white one it comes with and the light blue one and then this pro controller.

Sony gave me the option to get a replacement or refund. I opted for the refund.

Playing first person shooters it's a great controller due to the quick triggers on the back which always seemed more responsive "faster" than the ones on the front. When a version 2 comes out I'll certainly pickup another as I didn't think I'd care about not having it but once you've played with it for a month you'll realize how much more enjoyable this controller makes games.

The switch pro controller isn't even the best pro style controller for the switch. Standard Xbox and ps5 controller are significantly better quality.

Earth. Mice, keyboards, controllers. Anything of higher quality will cost north of 100.
