The Ninja's non-stick coating is PTFA-free and PFOA-free ceramic. I do generally prefer stainless steel since ceramic coatings can still scratch/chip if you're not careful, but at least this one doesn't have the usual PFAS concerns.
Exactly. No one needs more PFAS in their lives.

I love the idea of this device but pressure cookers get run through the wringer and stainless is way more appropriate for that use case.
I have this and use it weekly. FYI, even thou it's the 6.5 qt version, it's HUGE and takes up a lot of counter space. I've used the pressure cooker, air fryer, and sous vide functions which have all worked awesome so far. Since then, I've become a Ninja Foodi fan and purchased their flip up oven and hand mixer.

Sorry I'm a ninja foodi noob. Can I buy the 6.5 stainless steel pot to swap out the nonstick one to use in this machine?
thats a good idea.. I did a little digging and found a compatible one on amazon for $32. one of the above comments though says the stock one is PTFA and PFOA free

what is difference compared to this one [costco.com] which I had picked up at $100 in store?
Yours is not a true pressure cooker its just a rapid cooker which I think just uses steam..?? I have been waiting for our local Costco to get this back in stock for about 6 months. Had the old model with switchable lids that lasted about 5 years before the pressure lid got dropped and it stopped holding pressure. This is great deal!

Yes you can, this was also my main concern before purchasing, you can pressure cook it so it's super quick, there are a couple of videos on YouTube on how to make it.

I'm in for one before they run out of stock, the Sous Vide function is what sealed the deal for me though, this is a great price.

how does this compare to an instantpot for pressure cooking? and reliability?
Instant Brands just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. May be worth considering.

This is the best thing on the market for making cannabis oil and cannabutter for cooking. No smell. Also makes a very nice and easy pot roast. (Not trying to make a pun there.) Very tender and juicy beef. I bought it about a year ago and I use it all the time.
Could you share your technique for butter? Decarb, put in jars w/ oil, in a shallow water path, pressure for a certain time length, I assume? Thank you.

Yes. One lid. Which is why I bought it. It's fantastic and I've used it almost daily for two years.

does a lot of cooking smell come out of this thing when it's working. i have the sur la table one from costco and it fills my room with cooking smell

and is the ninja easy to clean? the inside of my sur la table is impossible to scrape off the oil that flys off everywhere

Yes, it's one lid. The slider bar in the front seals for pressure cooking. I use the air fryer the most, it cleans up wonderfully in the dishwasher.

They claim it is PTFE free, though you might or might not choose to trust them.

Does anyone know what the difference is between this one and the Foodi Pro? Specifically the FD302. I bought one on Amazon but haven't opened it yet so I can still return and buy this one, which is 50 bucks cheaper than the model I bought.

I follow this website's recommendation. Works great.

https://emilykylenutrition.com/in...er-or-oil/

It's written for the Instapot, not the Ninja Foodie, but it works all the same. The first step of the process, you put the setting on "high" for the pressure cook, then for the slow cook par, you put it on "low" for 4 hours.
