Thanks OP. Just bought a pair at $29.93 on 10Jun and they feel great and have great jaws. I also think it's worth sharing the adjustment isn't just the two positions "closed/extended" like typical slip joints. Rather these have multiple positions similar to the Cobras water pump style(can see in third photo of post). That small detail makes these exceptionally versatile and I was impressed when I found that out.

Thank you for this. I was comparing to HF Icon and Doyle and this is close but that seems like a major difference worth the $ and of course being Knipex quality. In for 1. And will skip this:

Oh wow. I have a pair (and used them today for the first time), and had no idea they were super adjustable. They are a fantastic design, and the comfort grip is very nice.

I use those at work all the time, costed them double. Now I'll have to get my own for home even though I already have a drawer full of different pliers. Another slick deals love/hate moment. Thanks(?).

You're right, but the comfort grip pair are worth the couple extra dollars for this particular tool. They're normally ~$40 lately and the cheapest they've been in amazon history is $35. I'm in for one.

You'll thank yourself later when you're using them to pull a large nail or tighten/loosen a bolt in a weird place.
