Great speaker, bought it a few years ago for $160 and it has good sound and nice bass. The only thing I would say that the battery does not last that long. I would say 2 1/2 to 4 hours tops. However if you are close to an outlet it would be better plugged in as you would get the maximum output loudness and not have to worry about the speaker dying out. Sadly after I got the JBL partybox then this unit doesn't get much usage anymore. Overall though for $109 it is a fantastic buy.
I have the onyx 3. Battery didn't last very long. I YouTubed how to change out the battery, and now has been working for 5 years now, no problems.
Currently have 2 Partybox, Encore and Partybox 200. There is no comparison with party box I feel as they sound much better. Also the partybox has microphone input and aux input. Sound wise thought, the Encore and the Studio 6 is more comparable. Giving a slight edge on the Encore for sound quality, but the Studio 6 has slightly better battery life (3-4 hrs) while Encore has about 2-2:30 hours at 80 volume. Both battery life suck IMO. Keep in mind that both speakers are Bass heavy if you are enjoy listening to that.
Keep in mind that the party box is 10 times bigger. I use two pay box 100s for karaoke parties. They rock.

I have this. It's awesome. I've been at the beach the last 5 days and used this thing for multiple hours each day without charging it and it still has battery life. Pretty impressive sound. It's fairly heavy for just carrying around, but I definitely recommend it.
What are you talking about? We know it has been $100 before but we want to know when. TripleCamel is an Amazon price tracker. TripleCamel is useless with the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 because it is so expensive on Amazon. I am going to look at slickdeal search history and not an Amazon price tracker for this Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6. We also prefer to be told of active deals. A $100 or $109 are definitely good deals for this quality of bluetooth speaker. Reviews and thumbs up says so. If one sees a good deal, they should post a deal to help others. Assuming "life doesn't get in the way".
I have one of these. Bought a few month ago via Harmon-Kardon's site. Powerful standalone bt speaker. A little bass-heavy and although there is no app for the product, you can adjust the sound profile using the equalizer on your phone. Would have preferred USB-C charging. The battery lasts for multi-hour events with no issue. Overall, it was worth the cost for me.

I'm thinking of changing it/upgrading it.
It's this worthy?
