I think they've always called themselves Nomatic, but their original wallet [kickstarter.com] was called the BASICS Wallet.

Nice wallet, got a couple when they were $4 via nomatic.com
Con: will damage the corners of your CCs since they're not protected.

You give it to the street beggers or just throw it away to make up how much money you've saved on SD.

Not practical if you have multiple credit/debit cards, drivers license, medical, car insurance cards, cash, etc

If they could weave some metal or something to block the wireless card theft signal stuff, I'd love mine more.... I think I bought one for $5 to 7 a while ago.....

What do you do with your ID with wallets of this type? You just slide it in with the rest of your credit cards? If so, not sure I'm too keen on that.
Yes. I've had one of these since 2018, I've never once come even close to my ID falling out. I keep my heavily used stuff - ID, debit card, main credit card - in the main compartment that slides them out. I keep a few other cards in the other one. Don't stretch it out by overstuffing it with cards and you won't have any issues.

Untrue. I keep multiple credit cards, debit card, ID, paper auto insurance & health insurance cards (wholly unnecessary), and 3-4 bills without issue since 2018. You don't need everything you've been slogging around for the past 3 decades.

Agreed, I might use only 2-3 cards 90% of the time and rest is unnecessary stuff. Now I am getting used to my Apple Pay as almost all the retailers are using them.

Used this wallet for 7 years and finally retired mine a few weeks ago. I carried a few too many cards and ended up stretching it out over the years but I was really impressed with how long it lasted with all the abuse I put it through. Also really nice and compact, flexibility to carry cash as well, and quick access to cards is really elegant compared to other slim wallets. I switched to an XSTO wallet this time around but still highly recommend this. Might pick one up as a backup in case I don't end up liking the XSTO in the long run.

Bought one of these back in 2020 for $9 and it's worked fantastic ever since. Fits the perfect amount of cards, The cash slot works well for a few 20s, and the quick card slot is basically what I use 99% of the time for my primary credit card. Thinking about buying a new one in gray just to switch it up even though mine still works great.

Ditto. I have basically all the stuff that was listed. As long as you don't carry around a ton of useless cards it should work perfectly for most people.

I thought the same thing many years ago until I did some research on those rfid blocking wallets. Turns out they're all a scam. They really don't do anything. Do a quick Google search and I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusion.

What do you all do with your change? Almost no men's wallets have change pockets.
We just put the change in our pocket. No need to put it in a wallet pocket then in our pocket.

I've had this wallet for years and love it. I might pick up a new one since it's starting to wear out a bit. I tried switching to the ridge wallet for a little while but it turned out to be too heavy and less convenient to get cards out quickly.

Any recommendations for a minimalist wallet that won't scratch up credit cards to hell? I've noticed with these types of wallets the cards stack on each other and get really scratched up.

I love the minimalism but hate the damage!
