Their new warranty policy doesn't look *too* terrible. You just mail them a swatch of fabric from the umbrella along with the "totes" tag and $5 for return shipping for a new one. Definitely worth picking up old models from a second hand store if you ever see one.

I wasn't so much talking about this $3 deal, but the other ones that are usually closer to $20 or maybe have more features (auto-close, larger size, rain repellant, venting, etc). Good umbrellas are wonderful compared to the garbage $3 one here that'll likely fail in the storms you want it most.
