Bought two of these a few years back. They don't do well in windy conditions due to their plastic rib struts. The beaches we have visited were always too windy for these umbrellas. The umbrella lip would bend down, so we would still have some shade, but the struts looked like they were on the verge of breaking. If your beaches don't have much wind, these work great.

I snagged one of these the other day, I plan to use a bucket filled with towers to anchor it in place at the pool. Strap it to a cooler if I need to, to get it to stand up.

I bought it last month at regular price. Went back and did a price adjustment. Brought myself a Chipotle bowl.

I took one of my uncle's Tommy Bahamas umbrella to Myrtle Beach last year. It did OK. It was very windy but it held OK although I was always concerned with the stake becoming undone.

My Costco (CA 92782) has also Tommy Bahama Beach Chair (Blue Marlin color) for $29.99, and Costco online has Tommy Bahama Beach Chair 2-pack for $59.99 (after $20 off) valid 6/10/23 through 6/18/23.

i wish it was 5.5-6. Don't need such a monster for a beach umbrella. My current one is 5' golf umbrella from ikea i bought for $5 many years ago and modded for sand. I ended up buying on amazon 6' for $30+. Nothing decent quality in local stores.

Ya these things suck in windy conditions, as a huge fan of the chairs, the umbrellas really bad mine flips inside out a ton, had to buy alternatives
