My local Target is clearing these vacuum cleaners for $135. I am not sure if they are worth it. I did not buy one. Am I missing out at that price?

Looks like it was released in 2020
https://slickdeals.net/f/14590807-shark-ai-robot-vacuum-rv2011-with-iq-navigation-and-ai-laser-vision

it's been in the $200's a few times and has generally okay reviews. If you need a robot vacuum go for it but if not I don't think you could really resell it for much of a profit.

(extreme YMMV)

Thanks. I don't resell anything. I was just wondering if I am missing out on something amazing by refusing to buy a robot vacuum.

Nah - if at $50 I'd say go for it but $130 is still a tad pricey unless you were in the market for one

Have you ever tried one?
They've come a long way since the original random bounce/low suction days. (assuming you don't buy the absolute cheapest/oldest model possible)

I personally own a mid range one, not fancy but not the cheapest. I really think it's a paradigm shift for home cleaning. I have it do high traffic areas nightly-
No more dust bunnies. No more crumbs.
It doesn't replace a proper/full power vacuum for carpet areas, but you'll need to do that much less and your hard floors will be debris free.

I haven't tried it, no. My friends swear by them, but they have kids and dogs. I am a single guy in an 800-foot apartment loaded to the brim with recreational and sports equipment. I am not sure this thing would be helpful nosing around between bikes, kayaks, and kettlebells 😆

I don't have kids or a dog either, but find dust/hair/dirt just accumulates.

Your concerns re obstacles is a fair one. They work best with unfettered floor access.
...but i think the side-benefit of having one is you feel pressured to keep the floor neat so it can do its work ha Smilie

Haha, thanks. I'll sleep on it for now but will reassess my floor tidiness and maybe grab one one day.
