I don't know if you are in a similar situation like mine...
2020 purchased an electric vehicle and claimed a $500 ev credit with smud to purchase/install charger which I did.
Today, I used my same information and I qualified for this as well. Did I just double dip? I wanted a second one because I am planning to buy a second EV in the future and I think I would install a second charger. My garage/parking set up makes sense to install on the opposite wall.

Hi, boatmate, good question! 2020 EV, I took the cash option from them since we were renting and I did not want to install it there. Now we bought a house and I purchased a Juicebox 32 outright. I used our new address so I may be in a different part of the boat but similar nonetheless. I guess we will see if SMUD adjusts the price. If so, I will request a cancellation.

thanks for your input but your probably ok. If i recall, SMUD opens a new account if you use your same personal information but different home. But who knows. This is part of a special program. I just don't want them to claw back $500
