i turn off my entire hud and all the in game voices and just drive around. on the series x and on an oled, this game looks incredible

If you like arcade style racing, not as arcadey as Need for Speed, etc, this open world racing game is one of the best. Hundreds of hours of content, fantastic game.

Not only the cringe voices and story, forced DEI, etc- but the way the narrator makes out like you're (the player) greatest nonbinary human to ever grace the driver's seat of a car is absurd.

Come in first place? WOW THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!

Come in last place? WOW SIMPLY AMAZING RACE!

what happened to just sucking, replaying a race 100 times until you get good?

For that, I would say this isn't a true racing video game experience, and more like a walking/driving simulator of what it is like to drive a car all over a large map. There are races, sure- but no consequence. Nothing to look forward to, no end game boss car, they literally give you a Lambo or Ferrari super car within the first 30 minutes of completing the tutorial.

I'd recommend waiting. Steam summer sale is only a week or two away. FWIW, Forza 4 with all its DLC was on sale for the same price over a year ago. While that one won't be coming back due to it being discontinued, Forza 5 has just as much DLC, I'd rather wait for a complete edition, even if it was priced a bit more.

Using a wheel and pedals makes me able to drive slowly, which I could never do using the game controller shoulder button as a gas pedal lol.

No, he's not a hater. At what point in a video game are the NPCs talking about you when you aren't there to other NPCs to make it necessary to know what fantastical made up pronouns you demand everyone uses?

How could it be optional? You're a character in the game and the game needs to know how to have the AI characters address and refer to you.

Is forza 4 also getting removed from xbox? I need to buy it before it gets removed there too
