Ah Nintendo, where you can overpay for inferior hardware and proprietary software that could run on a toaster. Truly the Apple of gaming 😆

Any good games to play with wife who's not much into gaming but would enjoy a good easy coop game?
If she's into Pixar: Toy Story 3. If she's into Disney/Pixar/Star Wars/Marvel: Disney Infinity

Any of the various Lego games are always a good bet.

Overcooked is highly rated...umm yeah.

These are all specifically *couch coop games

If she's into skiing DM me.

If you're buying from this sale, please look in the mirror and understand Nintendo has hypnotized you into being an unreasonable fanatic to buy anything it puts out at any price.

Even if you are going to buy physical Switch games, you really should buy Used for first party Nintendo releases. There's just so many copies in perfectly fine condition in the wild to be had for $20-$25 for most these games

Nintendo makes some legitimately great games at times, but this wallet squeezing is only going to get worse the more people enable it. I don't expect Ubisoft level price drops, but Nintendo is becoming more and more predatory with their financial practices the past 6 years, people need to be wary.
If you're telling other people what to do with their money, please look in the mirror and tell that guy to mind his own business..cuz he should.

Some people want new. Some don't want the hassle of finding better than this price. You do you..and you only.

Can you buy theses games with eShop gift cards?
Nope. Been trying for a while and you can only pay with CC for physical. Junk experience. Had funds on there forever due to previous gift card deals. Decided to just use some of it for Metroid and hope for DLC for Tears of Kingdom in a year or so. Learned my lesson: only get e-cards if I want to save on online membership or if I never want to sell a game.

$29.99 for Skyrim is not bad. GameStop has it used for $45 and it looks like used copies go for around $30 on eBay.

Please look in the mirror and understand that there is more to life than frequenting neckbeard subreddits and complaining about everything.

How do you think developers make money? Whether it is Nintendo or any other game company? It's because of people like you we have predatory game practices where they prevent people from buying used games by slow drip feed content/season passes.

So a non-Nintendo fan is complaining about prices? How does it impact you?

There is a saying that great things come to those that wait. Nintendo typically does Players Club/Selects towards EOL of a console. This drops MSRP to 50% or so of retail (typically it was been $20) on a permanent basis. It isn't all first party games, but usually popular ones. You can also wait on in store clearances. I caught a Target fire sale of 3DS games and got 4 first party games for $20 total (new, not used).

Major games on all consoles release for AT LEAST $60. If you don't bite then, who cares if it is 1 year or 5 years before MSRP falls to a point you will bite? Gamers are known for the backlog. I could go an entire console generation with just games I have access to already and still not go through everything I haven't started or finished yet. I know I am not alone.
