Any of the various Lego games are always a good bet.
Overcooked is highly rated...umm yeah.
These are all specifically *couch coop games
If she's into skiing DM me.
Even if you are going to buy physical Switch games, you really should buy Used for first party Nintendo releases. There's just so many copies in perfectly fine condition in the wild to be had for $20-$25 for most these games
Nintendo makes some legitimately great games at times, but this wallet squeezing is only going to get worse the more people enable it. I don't expect Ubisoft level price drops, but Nintendo is becoming more and more predatory with their financial practices the past 6 years, people need to be wary.
Some people want new. Some don't want the hassle of finding better than this price. You do you..and you only.

There is a saying that great things come to those that wait. Nintendo typically does Players Club/Selects towards EOL of a console. This drops MSRP to 50% or so of retail (typically it was been $20) on a permanent basis. It isn't all first party games, but usually popular ones. You can also wait on in store clearances. I caught a Target fire sale of 3DS games and got 4 first party games for $20 total (new, not used).
Major games on all consoles release for AT LEAST $60. If you don't bite then, who cares if it is 1 year or 5 years before MSRP falls to a point you will bite? Gamers are known for the backlog. I could go an entire console generation with just games I have access to already and still not go through everything I haven't started or finished yet. I know I am not alone.
